Daniela Velastegui is a Registered Dietitian who obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University. She later went on to complete a Dietetic Internship Program and obtain a Master’s degree in Nutrition from College of Saint Elizabeth. Daniela has experience working with patients in sub-acute rehab settings, long-term care, and inpatient hospital settings. She is bilingual as she is fluent in Spanish, and her passion lies within helping others prevent and manage medical conditions with the use of nutrition therapy.
During her free time she enjoys learning about food both nutritionally as well as new recipes and loves to cook. She also enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, She believes no food should ever be eliminated from one’s diet, but rather can be modified to fit into a healthy lifestyle and looks forward to help you do just that.
